Sunday, April 5, 2009 @ 10:55 AM SOME ANNOUNCEMENTS 1. In case you still have no idea what happened on 28th March for Ares Funfair, in short there were problems with logistics i.e. not enough working power points so we didnt get to use our toasters and that, I suppose, led to (really) poor sales. There were close to 20 loaves of bread left over and we sold a few to random kind souls after the fun fair. The rest of the bread, together with the unopened spread, were donated to St Luke's Hospital. There's a proposal to absorb the expenses (bread, spread, gloves etc) which amounts to about $50++ (I'll update you guys on the exact amount once I confirm it) as a class i.e. not claiming from the Fac Comm, especially since we didn't help Ares make any money anyway.. It's going to be just around $2 per person. If there're any discrepancies kindly direct them to me, or Hou Yin. 2. The opened cans / jars of spread are still sitting in my house -.- There's Nutella, kaya, cheese and garlic I think. Was thinking of a class breakfast to finish up the spread. I can get the bread and prepare some tuna sandwiches too. Yup need to see how response is like. Kindly tag on class blog or text me or smth. Probably not on Monday coz we've got Econs test for PT. Tell me which day you prefer! Before assembly or say, after PE on Thursday or smth! 3. Hohum, as mentioned previously the next collection of Class Fund is here. Kindly pay $10 to Class Fund by 9th April, Thursday. (Friday's Good Friday, yay!) Yup so since JTS is postponed I suppose there's some extra cash to pay heheh. Oh speaking of JTS, remember to save some money for it and pay promptly (if we're collecting the $ beforehand) and not just ask from your parents; it's not PTS after all! love, YING CI from your info-com rep
